Community Based Services

Silverstar Care offers community-based support to people with different needs, empowering each person to achieve their goals through access to skill-based learning, recreation and social activities. Our social activities for children, teenagers and adults are held with other people of similar interests at our community centers. In a safe and supportive environment, you can join for our fun activities, enjoy great adventures or learn new skills, gain trust and develop friendships.

Our competent staff takes a person-centered approach, and is devoted to delivering innovative and stimulating programs and activities designed to enrich your life skills and promote choice, inclusion, independence and well-being. Services can include but are not limited to assistance with accessing community pools, appointments, Gym assistance etc. This service is tailored to the needs of each individual client and discussed during our comprehensive care plan.

If you are worried about a family member being by themselves at home and are concerned about their safety, our supportive team members can assist with arranging companion services, this can be assistance with sitting with your loved ones and assisting them with a task, or simply having a cup of coffee with them or taking them out for a walk. Our health team can develop care plans that would suit client requirements.
